Kickstart your diving adventures with the fun and easy Discover Scuba Diving programme with Divine Divers on Gili Meno.
First, your instructor will explain basic safety guidelines and before you jump into the pool for your first underwater breaths. You’ll quickly feel relaxed and at peace underwater, with plenty of time to practise and ask questions. Your instructor will teach you some basic diving skills to help you on your dive, including equalising the pressure in your ears to ensure a comfortable experience, hand signals for communication and proper technique for moving underwater.
Once you are confident diving in the pool, we will board our dive boat and head out on the water to one of the beautiful nearby coral reefs for your first real dive. Each dive lasts up to 1 hour, and you may go to a maximum depth of 12 meters. You can safely experience the unique freedom of exploring the underwater world with the constant supervision of a qualified instructor, who is there to ensure you have fun and stay safe.
Most people fall in love with diving after their first experience with us; It’s easy to continue diving with us and obtain your scuba diving licence. You can count one of the two dives towards a certification course such as the Open Water Diver Course. You will not receive a certification for only completing the Discover Scuba Diving trial programme, but your Open Water Diver licence qualifies you to dive anywhere in the world, and lasts a lifetime!
The introduction dive programme with two dives on Gili Meno usually takes 1 day. It is no problem to adapt the schedule to your preferences. In general, please expect your first diving day to look like this:

Our diving courses on Gili Meno are all-inclusive and you will encounter no hidden costs during your diving journey.
Please note, the waters around the Gili Islands have been declared a Marine Park. Therefore a one time Marine Park fee of 100.000 IDR has to be paid by all diving and snorkel tour participants. This fee is NOT included in our prices and has to be paid in cash at our dive center on Gili Meno.
No time for the course, but want to dive again? Maybe you don’t want to learn any more diving theory? Our repeat introduction dives are for people who have already completed at least one Discover Scuba Diving session with us. All you have to do is jump on the boat again and see another beautiful dive site around Gili Meno, without repeating the pool training. The repeat introduction dives cost 700.000 IDR and can be booked on site.

Our cancellation policy is flexible and we are trying our best to meet your holiday schedule and potential interruptions of it. If you book a course in advance but you are then unable to do it for prooven medical reasons, we will reimburse you of course minus admin and transaction costs.
