Diving does not end when the sun sets! Meet the incredible marine life that only comes out at night for a completely unique diving experience. Become an experienced night diver with the Night Dive Specialty on Gili Meno. Although it may seem scary, many divers fall in love with diving in the dark!
We at Divine Divers on Gili Meno think it is best to experience your first night dive together with an instructor in a controlled environment. Overcome your fear, or get more out of night diving with the Night Diving specialty.
While night diving you will observe different marine creatures, such as unique crustaceans and mollusks you never knew existed, as well as unique behaviours from animals such as lionfish, octopus and turtles.
As an added bonus, only when night diving can you experience the beautiful and fascinating natural phenomenon of bioluminescent plankton, where thousands of tiny plankton glow when a chemical reaction that takes place inside them causes them to light up.
Upon completion, you will earn your PADI Night Diver certification.
The night dive specialty course requires three night dives, and as such is typically completed over three evenings. With a combination of online learning, in-person theory sessions and open water training dives, you will become comfortable and confident on night dives.
Two of the dives will use “normal” light, whereas the last one will take place with UV (blue) light.
If you don’t have three evenings, we can also include an early morning dive where we enter the water at night and exit at dawn.
Our diving courses on Gili Meno are all-inclusive and you will encounter no hidden costs during your diving journey.
Please note, the Gili Islands are located in a Marine Park. Therefore all divers are required to pay a one time Marine Park fee of 100.000 IDR. This fee is NOT included in our prices. We collect it in cash at our dive center on Gili Meno.

Our cancellation policy is flexible and we are trying our best to meet your holiday schedule and potential interruptions of it. If you book a course in advance but you are then unable to do it for prooven medical reasons, we will reimburse you of course minus admin and transaction costs.

We conduct all our courses in line with PADI standards.
