Digital Underwater Photography / Videography is one of the most popular diving specialties. Learn how to take underwater images of your dive highlights and explore the fun and addictive world of underwater photography and videography!
With so many cameras and housings available, taking underwater pictures is easier and more accessible than ever. However, underwater photography has some challenges not found on land.
With the Underwater Photography / Videography specialty program, you will learn how to capture amazing underwater experiences. This is not dependant on the type of camera you use: GoPro, point-and-shoot or more sophisticated D-SLR like a professional photographer.
The fun part is to use the two open water training dives to take a lot of beautiful underwater images. The workshops will result in a fine selection of pictures or a short video for social media to share with your family and friends.
Upon completion, you will earn the Underwater Photography or Videography Specialty certification. Please let us know your preference during the booking process
The PADI Underwater Photography / Videography course is typically completed in one day, and consists of two ocean dives and one optional pool session.Your instructor will advise which dives are most appropriate for you.
Your instructor will review the relevant knowledge and theory with you on land, before teaching you new and advanced methods of taking pictures or videos underwater.
You will then put these techniques into practice on your dives.
Our diving courses on Gili Meno are all-inclusive and you will encounter no hidden costs during your diving journey.
Please note, the Gili Islands are located in a Marine Park. Therefore all divers are required to pay a one time Marine Park fee of 100.000 IDR. This fee is NOT included in our prices. We collect it in cash at our dive center on Gili Meno.

Our cancellation policy is flexible and we are trying our best to meet your holiday schedule and potential interruptions of it. If you book a course in advance but you are then unable to do it for prooven medical reasons, we will reimburse you of course minus admin and transaction costs.

We conduct all our courses in line with PADI standards.
