Description

Overview Underwater Cleanup on Gili Meno

2 hours – 1 open water dive – help us to clean up Meno Wall

Every month, Divine Divers organizes an underwater cleanup dive at Meno Wall – our housereef. This initiative is part of our commitment to preserving the local marine environment and promoting sustainable diving practices. During these cleanups, divers remove trash, fishing debris, and other pollutants that pose a threat to the delicate reef ecosystem.

The collected data from each dive is carefully logged and fed into the PADI AWARE “Adopt the Blue” database, a global initiative aimed at tracking and addressing marine pollution. By contributing to this database, Divine Divers helps raise awareness of the impact of pollution on coral reefs and provides valuable information for long-term conservation efforts.

Through these monthly cleanups, Divine Divers not only enhance the health of Meno Wall but also empower divers and the community to take active roles in protecting the ocean’s fragile ecosystems.
