Description
Overview Recue Diver Course on Gili Meno
3 to 3,5 days – 6 skill development sessions including 4 open water dives – serious fun
Become a better diver with the Rescue Course with Divine Divers on Gili Meno. The Rescue Diver Course will teach you skills and techniques you need to protect yourself and others. It is fun and rewarding, and after completion you will earn the PADI Rescue Diver certification; This is a prerequisite for the Divemaster certification and therefore this course is essential for all aspiring dive professionals.
During the course, you will learn how to identify stress and how to prevent accidents, master the practical techniques to conduct rescues, and practice providing emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water practice sessions, you will become well prepared and confident at handling different emergency and rescue situations.
The course involves independent e-learning, face-to-face training, two pool sessions and four open water dives from the boat or shore.
Knowledge Development: Covers topics like self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, and emergency management.
Even though the underwater exploration is not the main focus of the course, we will simulate “normal” dives where we will have a chance to explore the beautiful underwater world of the Gili Islands.
Emergency First Response
To become certified as a Rescue Diver, you must first have a valid first and secondary aid provider certificate issued or updated within the past two years. If you do not already hold this qualification, we are able to teach the PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course as part of your Rescue Diver training.
During the EFR you will learn how to manage emergencies and treat injuries as an emergency first responder. This in-depth emergency first response course includes primary assessment, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques.
Using a combination of academic sessions and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency first response.
Schedule
In general, most people complete the Rescue Diver course over 3 days. However, we are flexible and happy to adjust the schedule to accommodate your holiday plans!
