During the Deep Diver Specialty, you’ll learn how to plan and conduct deep dives up to 40 meters, manage your air supply and how to identify and manage narcosis. You’ll also learn about safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.
There’s something exciting and mysterious about deep dives that attracts divers. Many exciting dive sites lie in deeper waters and the Deep Dive Specialty Course will teach you how to get to 40 meters safely and with confidence.
The feeling of going deeper than ever before and exploring uncharted reefs is exciting and appealing. Being a deep diver opens new opportunities for deeper wrecks, coral-encrusted walls, deepwater reefs, shark dives and many other exhilarating options.
Deep diving is fun and exciting. To be conducted safely, you need proper training, planning and knowledge.
Upon completion, you will earn the Deep Diving Specialty certification.
This course is completed through a combination of theory sessions and practical applications. This specialty course required 4 dives, and is therefore typically completed over 2 days. Your instructor will advise which dives are more appropriate for you.
We recommend completing some of these dives on Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) to increase your bottom time. If you do not yet hold an EANx certification, we can teach this alongside your PADI Deep Diving specialty course. Just let us know.
Our diving courses on Gili Meno are all-inclusive and you will encounter no hidden costs during your diving journey.
Please note, the Gili Islands are located in a Marine Park. Therefore all divers are required to pay a one time Marine Park fee of 100.000 IDR. This fee is NOT included in our prices. We collect it in cash at our dive center on Gili Meno.

Our cancellation policy is flexible and we are trying our best to meet your holiday schedule and potential interruptions of it. If you book a course in advance but you are then unable to do it for prooven medical reasons, we will reimburse you of course minus admin and transaction costs.

We conduct all our courses in line with PADI standards.
