Haven’t been diving in a while? Rebuild your confidence and sharpen your skills with our Scuba Refresher Course. It’s a safe, fun, and efficient way to get back underwater under the guidance of a dive professional.

This course is ideal for certified divers who’ve been inactive for about a year. It’s a quick and easy re-introduction to diving, covering both theory and practical skills to ensure you’re fully prepared for your next dive.

Please note: If you have fewer than 30 logged dives and haven’t dived in over a year, refresher training is mandatory for your safety.

The Refresher Program begins with a review of essential dive theory, followed by a skills session in our training pool. Once you’re feeling confident and comfortable, your instructor will take you on a fun dive at one of our stunning dive sites around the Gili Islands.

It’s the perfect way to ease back into the underwater world—with comfort, safety, and enjoyment as the top priorities.

Schedule

We understand you’re on vacation, so our Refresher Course is designed to be flexible. The full program can be completed in just half a day, and we’re happy to adapt the schedule to fit your plans.

Here’s what you can typically expect over 3 to 4 hours of training:

08:30 – 13:00 or 13:00 to 16:30

Reconnect with Dive Theory
Start the morning by reviewing key diving concepts with your instructor through a short quiz. You’ll go over essential topics such as hand signals, emergency procedures, buddy checks, and equipment setup.
Pool Session – Practice Skills
Next, you’ll jump into the confined water environment of our training pool. Your instructor will demonstrate core dive skills, and you’ll practice important procedures like buoyancy control, emergency responses, descents, and ascents. By the end of this session, you’ll feel confident and comfortable in the water again.
The Fun Part – Open Water Dive
After your pool training, it’s time to enjoy a fun dive! You and your instructor will join the 11:00 or 14:30 dive boat and explore one of the beautiful dive sites around the Gili Islands.

Please note, the waters around the Gili Islands have been declared a Marine Park. Therefore a one time Marine Park fee of 100.000 IDR has to be paid by all diving and snorkel tour participants. This fee is NOT included in our prices and has to be paid in cash at our dive center on Gili Meno.

To sign up for a Refresher Course you must:

Be a certified diver

Our cancellation policy is flexible and we are trying our best to meet your holiday schedule and potential interruptions of it. If you book a course in advance but you are then unable to do it for prooven medical reasons, we will reimburse you of course minus admin and transaction costs.

We accept bank transfers, cash and credit cards. Please note, a 3% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.
