Public Boat
The main gateway to the Gili Islands from Lombok is Bangsal Harbor, located in the northwest of the island. From here, public boats regularly travel to the Gili Islands and are a very affordable way to reach Gili Meno.
The slow public boat to Gili Meno takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Scheduled departures are typically 09:00, 11:00, 14:00, and 17:00.
There are also hourly speedboats departing from Bangsal that travel to Gili Meno via Gili Air. At the time of writing, the price is around 85,000 IDR per person, and the journey usually takes 20 to 25 minutes.
It is important to buy your ticket at the official ticket office in Bangsal harbor to avoid overcharging by unofficial sellers.
All public boats arrive at Gili Meno harbour. From there you can either walk across the island to Divine Divers (about 20 minutes) or take a cidomo (horse cart) if you have luggage.
Private Speed Boat
If you miss the last public boat, or simply prefer a more comfortable transfer, it is possible to charter a private speedboat from Bangsal or Teluk Nara harbor.
Private boats are a convenient option, especially if you are traveling with two or more people. They can often drop you directly in front of Divine Divers on the beach, depending on the tide.
